i <3 houston
i'm so glad to be home and finally back to my normal routine. new york definitely made me realize how much i love houston. i enjoyed the ease and convenience of new york living but i missed houston's light and openness. i already knew i could never leave houston for good. i've known that since high school when i couldn't even bare applying to colleges out of houston. but now it's been solidified that i'm forever a houston girl.
i did love new york though! it was amazing to see all of the things i'd studied and adored for years. the museums were definitely my favorite part. the met was overwhelming but filled with so much of my favorite art. and moma, oh my. i could live there.
Eva Hesse! and Eugene Atget!
and the garden was filled with so many bertoria chairs. ugh love. i really do want to go back. but maybe when it's cold and i can wear all of the coats i only get to wear for a couple days in houston.
