so i've been away from the blog for about a month now. i've been busy with fixing up the house again. this time i did the back yard, and we painted the room next to me. the yard took the most time because, um it was kind of a waste land.

that's the before, well the real before didn't have the table and the hanging plants.
so it's not all the way done but it's a lot better. the (3/4ish) after...

i still have to finish taking the grass out of the brick at the back, and plant my sunflower seeds in the bed you can't see. eventually the crepe myrtle is going in the big pot, and hopefully an avocado tree will magically sprout by the swing chair. (although the ants i saw yesterday have me doubting that.)

we even bought an umbrella (we originally had a gazebo but we had to take it down cause of the hurricane and have since lost the screws.)


the room got painted this awesome hotpinkyred color. it may sound crazy but it's 1000 times better than the neon yellow it was.
